Friday Fictioneers: Family Camping Trip

Please Note: this is 100% fiction!

As much as she’s a lover of nature, Candice had never once enjoyed her family’s annual camping trips. From setting up the tent to leaving the campsite is always a never-ending parade of chaos. Everybody wants different things and Candice is always left biting the dust, forgotten and ignored among her 5 brothers.

This year, she’s decided to drag her fiancé along, in hopes that he will opt for the nearby 5-star resort instead of sharing the same filthy tent her family’s been using since the beginning. When they arrived, however, he became ecstatic, “Are you kidding? This is awesome!”
