Does your kitchen have a pantry or utility room?

I’m not sure what an utility room is but according to an online search, an utility room is sorta like a laundry room or a multi-purpose room. My kitchen has a pretty big pantry and the utility room is next to the garage, which is nowhere near the kitchen.

How good are you at DIY?

I am a pretty good DIYer as long as there are detailed instructions. For example, I can put together an Ikea bookcase but I can’t build my own. I am pretty good with tools as I often lean toward doing everything myself as opposed to asking someone else for help.

Does your home lack something you wish it had? (ie. an open fire, second bathroom, garage, etc)

There are plenty of things lacking in my home – like a designated space for seed-starting, a bigger garage for storage, and oh, how about a second Master bedroom?

When we moved into my house, mom automatically moved her things into the masters bedroom even though this is my house. Meanwhile, I’m left being stuck in a small bedroom with barely any room to move. I had to get rid of my queen-size bed 3 years ago and downgrade it to a full-size or a double bed in order to give myself a little more walking room in my room.

The masters bedroom has a large walk-in closet and a bathroom. Although I currently do have my own bathroom, whenever there’s guest or if my aunt returns from China, I’ll have to share my bathroom. So I like a second master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a personal bathroom, please.

Are you an early bird or night owl?

It depends on the time of the year. In the summer, I am somewhat of both. I tend to go to bed later in the summer because it’s hot, outside is too light for bed, and I usually tend the garden until late. I rise early in the summer because it’s hot and I often would only water half the garden at night and leave the other half until the morning since some plants need to be watered in the morning to be prepared for the heat of the day.

In the winter, I tend to go to bed early and rise later mostly because of the shorter days and because I have no garden that needs tending.
