I don’t believe this. This is Southern China. Why is it so freaking cold? Even the coldest winter in Northern Utah is warmer than this.
Hopping up and down, I tried to keep warm and despite I just had the hottest bowl of clay pot rice available, that warmth only lasted 5 minutes before I was back to shivering.
Would this dang light turn green already? I just want to go home and hide under a pile of blankets again. Just then, a double-decker bus sped by and as it passed, the passengers stared at me like I’m a foreigner.

This was actually a semi-true story about the two weeks I spent in China in 2018. Though I looked like every other person on the street, I still stood out like a sore thumb because I wasn’t used to that kind of cold.

It’s hard when you stand out like that. I hope she gets warm.

I hope for that, too.

Hot tea and a cozy blanket will fix things right up.

Not in that cold, I was there and no allow of food will warm the body up, only thick blankets.

Southern China certainly does feel cold because of the dampness. I don’t blame her for jumping up and down, though it would make her stick out. 🙂

I agree. I was there in early 2018 and the cold was more than I could handle.
