#SundayStills: Monthly Color Challenge – Orange and Gold

Do you know what’s funny?

I was learning to say different colors in Japanese on Duolingo yesterday. When I saw the topic for this week’s #SundayStills, the words – オレンジ色と金色 (orange color and gold color) – came out of my mouth. I guess it’s the thing with learning a new language, foreign words will pop into my head at random times. It happened when I was learning English, again when I was re-learning Chinese, so I’m not surprised now that I’m learning Japanese. English is still, by far, the easiest language, by the way.

As I’m busy preparing myself for the trip to Japan – packing and repacking my スーツケース (there it goes again) – suitcase – before departing for the airport in 24-nerve-wrecking hours, I will try to keep my post short. Please enjoy this selection of orange and gold photos.

    1. Thank you. No, those characters were typed. After I started learning Japanese, I installed the language pack on my laptop and phone so I can translate some of the Japanese words when I’m watching Japanese videos.
