1.  How well do you know your immediate neighbors?

My house is in the middle, therefore, I have two immediate neighbors, neither whom I doubt I know well. One of my neighbors is my uncle and aunt (mom’s brother and sister-in-law) and my other neighbor isn’t permanent since they are renting this house, though I am pretty chummy with this old geezer. He seems to be a pretty good conversationalist.

2.  Do you notice changes in your neighborhood : ie. new car, new dog, home improvements, etc.

Not particularly. I’m not nosy and despite being observant, I don’t keep track of this kind of changes in the neighborhood.

3.  Should new neighbors move in next door, do you introduce yourself once they are settled in?

No, I’ve never done that when I moved into my current neighborhood and most likely never will. I’m not the kind to draw attention.

4.  Have you ever had to complain to your neighbors?

Does this mean complain to the neighbor about said neighbor or complain to my neighbor about other stuff? I am guilty of complaining to my neighbor – the old geezer – when he caught me unloading 12 bags of soil early one morning. I complained to him about my mom not letting me go out when she’s around, therefore, I had to get what I need when she’s not at home, thus it was why I’m buying 12 bags of soil at 7:30 in the morning.

  1. Thanks for joining in this week. When I was living at home with my parents, there was an elderly lady who lived next door. She used to let me play her piano and then give me a cup of tea made with evaporated milk as she only used to buy milk in a can.
