1. What is your idea of a good holiday? Seeing the sights, lazing on a beach, hitting the night spots, getting away from it all……………….
My idea of a good holiday or vacation as we call it in the US is to take it easy. Of course, travel is mandatory but I’m not into cramming 5 places to see in a single day. No, that’s not called a vacation, it’s called torture. If I visit a place, I’m determined to see every part of it and rushing is absolutely not allowed.
Lazing on the beach isn’t an option for me because I would have the jitters. I’m the type of person who must be doing something. Hitting night spots might be fun for some people but unless that night spot is an astronomical observatory, I’m out.
2. You are offered tickets to a show. Which would you prefer, Opera, Play, Cinema, Entertainment, Ice Gala, something else?
Ooh, cinema would be nice. I’m not sure if I will like anything else.
3. Have you ever won a sports trophy (or something similar for a particular achievement)
Ha! I had to laugh at this one – sports trophy. I have trophies but not for sports. I still have my trophies in the basement – one for perfect attendance and another one for being excellent in math. Mom always said that math trophy was a fluke because I was in a class full of people who weren’t good at math. Whatever, a trophy is a trophy.
4. What is your dream car (fact or fictional)
Well, I’m all about practicality. So my car has to be a hybrid so I can go to faraway places and not worry about finding a place to plug in to charge. As much as I love to go full-electric, I can’t as there are still places that only serve gas vehicles.
Now, if I’m not being practical, the car I want is a yellow sports car that’s cool-looking like those fast cars in Fast and Furious. I like to imagine I can drive a manual transmission car because I think all the cool cars are manual transmission. Perhaps, someday, I’ll learn.

Good answers. Thanks for joining in. I’d like a car that would take me anywhere I wanted to go in an instant and never needed to be fuelled up.

It just occurred to me. It would be nice to never have to fuel up or recharge.

May you learn the joy of a gear lever in a manual car. I’ve had both. However, as you age you slow down and forget to change gears. My mom did. I did. So don’t wait too long to learn.

Excellent trophies! A bit jealous of the math one (from a gal who still uses her fingers to add past 10)!

Thank you. 😄 I’m okay at math these days with much of my calculations done on the computer, probably not as good as the days when I had to do them by hand.
