Please note: this is 100% fiction!
For days, he had struggled with his writer’s block. He struggled to come up with new lyrics for his band’s new album and the studio had been pushing, calling his phone every day to check in.
“No, I don’t have anything new.” He shouted at them, wanted to add “for the hundredth time” but thought better than to piss the studio execs.
“What am I to do?” He muttered as he walked the graffiti lined streets of his hometown.
Just then, he saw the words – Free your mind – on the wall. Ha, he thought, if only it was that easy. The moment he walked past, however, another thought popped into his head, wait the minute…

Inspiration lies everywhere if we just allow it in. Writers block to me does not exist. Its just us trying to write when in truth we really don’t want to. Great story, well done.

Writer’s block can also be a jumbled brain having trouble deciphering the influx of information.

For sure, sometimes we just have to step back and wait for the mind to be ready to write again, I think.

When I feel uninspired I force myself to forget about it. Because I know, it’s coming!
