What do you normally have for breakfast?

My breakfast typically contains some kind of carb and protein. It usually contains some kind of bread, whether it be frozen breakfast sandwich or toast. For protein, I would usually have peanut butter stocked or if I’m not in the mood for peanut butter, I would fry or scramble an egg.

My bread alternative would be savory oatmeal with chia seeds as the protein source. Either way, I will get my carbs and protein to start the day.

Do you prefer to cook using gas or electricity?

Except for the apartment I’ve lived in when I was in California, all the places I’ve lived in had electric stove, so I have no experience of cooking with gas stovetops. So I have no preference since I have no point of reference.

I have a ceramic electric cooktop in my current home, the heat is a little difficult to manage at times because it takes a little while for the heat to go from high to low but I guess it does all right.

When you are working on your computer/laptop/tablet/mobile device etc, do you listen to music or have something else on in the background?

It depends on what I’m doing. If I’m at work on my work laptop, I’ll most likely have some sort of podcast playing in my ears, unless I’m on a call or in a meeting. I don’t listen to anything when I’m blogging as I want to hear my wild imaginative thoughts, not drown them out. It’s exactly like I don’t want to be surfing the web while watching a movie, I don’t want to miss out on the plot.

Do you hang pictures on your walls, or prefer to have personal photographs on shelves?

I recently hung a completed jigsaw puzzle on my living room wall. There’s a black and white print of Mount McKinley, photographed by the famous Ansel Adams hanging over my fireplace, while a canvas print of my favorite sunset photo (taken by me) hangs over the loveseat in the entry living room. I wanted to replace the Mt. McKinley with one of my favorite landscapes so many times but my mom wouldn’t let me. She said my photos aren’t good enough yet. Who can ever be better than the great Ansel Adams?

  1. I chuckle when I read that your mom wouldn’t let you replace the Mt McKinley – funny but also not so funny, I guess. Especially from what I can see, your capture of the sunset looks rather fabulous.
