In last Sunday’s Lens-Artists Challenge, I shared some cityscapes from high up. For this challenge, I decided to share some cityscapes from the ground level, I hope you enjoy.
You probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you – I’m still editing 2023 photos. I’m editing them as needed these days since I haven’t really been anywhere in 2024 due to the weather and, well, other reasons.
This photo is from my 2023 trip to the UK. This was taken during the river cruise from Westminster to Greenwich. I got to see quite a bit from the cruise and the best part was, I didn’t need to walk.
This is the city of Toronto from the ferry back in 2022. I wonder if the construction on those 2 buildings have finished.
I believe this is right outside of Shinjuku station in Tokyo, Japan. It was my full day in Japan, I guess I was still jet-lagged. Half the time, I couldn’t tell where I was as we mostly traveled underground in Tokyo, not above ground.
I was actually waiting for my mom and her friend when I took this photo. I managed to squeeze into a tiny elevator before them before discovering I had gone the wrong way. I was supposed to go down, not up. Oops.
Lastly, this is as #urban as it gets around these parts. It’s the view from the 9th floor of my work building in Downtown Salt Lake City.

Fabulous urban shots! 👌 Nice to see one from my area – Toronto. Those buildings must be finished by now, but it’s hard to tell, as there’s always so much construction in the city.

Sandy? As in Utah? I guess it depends on the day of the week and whether I can get out of the house for a 50-mile drive.

It’s Thursday 25 July @ 7pm. If getting out of the house is a problem I’ll send my tour crew to get you. Nobody messes with them. BTW, earbuds won’t do it. You need over the ear cans.

I’ve heard of those ear cans, they can block out even a gun shot.

Any over the ear headphone should do it.
It’s a concert. Musical Miss and an opening act. I’ll tell you who, but not in public. You can probably figure it out if you go to their website and check the date.
