#SundayStills: #Wings

I don’t know what kind of birds are these. I got this shot by imitation. When someone points their camera up a tree, my spidey sense would immediately be tipped off – there’s something in the tree. It only took a few seconds before these birds realized they’ve attracted the attention of humans and flown off. At least I got the shot, I guess it’s all that matters.

I went to the airshow at the end of June. It’s held every two years and despite I’ve been listening to the planes practicing while I held my work meeting, I had to go this year because of my aunt. She’s never been and doesn’t understand English. The finale of the airshow this year was the USAF Thunderbirds.

I didn’t stay for the finale two years ago when I attended. It was hot with no shade and nowhere to sit, so my mom and I went home. This year, I found a place to sit in a hangar and rested until the finale. I’ll admit that photographing planes had its challenges but overall, it was a fun experience trying to follow these planes’ movements and freezing it in 1000th second photo.

    1. Thank you. I googled and it sure looks like it.
No, it was not easy photographing, a few times, I found myself spinning in a circle trying to locate and follow the planes. 😀

  1. Nice bird photos, and yes they tend to fly away pretty fast! I always like your airplane pictures. I only went to one airshow once when I was a kid. Yep, it was so hot out. We used to have an AFB here, but it got closed a few years ago. 🙂
