
I see a loner, sitting in a darkened corner hugging his knees.
All his life, he’s been an outcast, with no one to turn to in his hour of needs.
I see an outcast, feeling unwanted and unloved, curled up in a corner, wanting to cry.
All he ever wanted was to be like everyone else, wanted to feel loved, cherished, and alive.
I see a soul crying out for help, trapped inside of a body that’s forced to put on a brave face.
All it wants is to be able to once again see hope and feel okay.
