How Did You Come Up With Your Blog Name?

You know what they say? Third time’s the charm.

It took 3 name changes before I arrived at This is Another Story. Over a decade ago, when this blog was a wee lad, it was called “The Random Blog.” As I started writing more and more about my daily life, I changed it to “A Simple Life”. BUT the blog – A Simple Life – did not entail fiction writing.

If you’ve recently subscribed to this blog, you might not know this. I am one with many hobbies – photography, gardening, writing stories, etc. I didn’t want my blog to be just about one thing. I want a place where I can go and express my thoughts and imagination. So a thought came to mind – isn’t a post is just another story?

If Your Blog Was A Person (Fictional or Real), Who Would It Be?

It will be a version of me that’s bold, daring, and unafraid. It’s the version of me who is brave enough to speak her thoughts out loud and unafraid to try new things.

What Helps You Create New Content When You Need Inspiration?

Writing prompts helps especially photo prompts like Friday Fictioneers and What Do You See. I also like photo prompts like Lens-Artists Photo Challenge to allow me to tell the stories behind my photos. When all else fails, there’s always the thoughts in my head.

Is There Anyone You’d Like to Collaborate With?

On my About page, I mentioned the possibility of opening my blog up to potential guest bloggers. After all, everyone have a story to share. Still, to this day, no one has contacted me about that. I would love to collaborate with anyone who’s willing to collaborate with me.

Is There Anything More You Wish You Had or Would Like to Learn as a Blogger?

There’s always something to learn about blogging. I don’t know of anything specific but it’s just like life, we are always learning something new. After all, blogging is not a race but a journey.

Do You Have a Specific Style of Blogging?

I have been blogging for over 10 years. I wouldn’t say I have a specific style of blogging. I also wouldn’t know if I have a specific style of blogging. I guess I just do whatever looks good to me. I cross my fingers when I hit that “Schedule” button. I hope that somebody will read and like my post.
