Six Sentence Story: Foil

Another plan foiled or is it?

With a giant roll of aluminum foil under his left arm and a black fabric reusable shopping bag on his shoulder, Brother One sneaked down the basement stairs, despite one cannot really sneak down the basement stairs (it creaks and cries like an old man).

Oh, I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he sees this, Brother One thought while stifling a laugh, he’ll never see this coming.

Just then, the light in the basement came on and Brother Two’s face came into view, making Brother One jump, simultaneously bumping his head on the low unfinished basement’s ceiling beam and almost falling down the remaining steps of the stairs, but fortunately, he grabbed the railing just in time. Brother One rubbed his hand on the forehead awkwardly with this left hand. “Dude, what the hell?”

Brother Two crossed his arms over his chest, “You’re planning something, aren’t you?”

Shit, how did he find out!
