Do you watch black and white movies?
I used to and I would if I can find a good movie to watch. The genre of black and white movies I enjoy the most are detective noir and comedy. Some of my favorites are 39 Steps, Miracle on 34th Street, and of course, It’s a Wonderful Life.
Did your mother ever wear high heels?
Yes, long ago when I was a baby. I’ve only ever seen it in pictures. These days, she only wears running shoes or sandals, depending on the weather.
Can you remember the washing powder your mother used for the laundry?
Every time we head into the store to get a new bottle of laundry detergent, my mom would tell me the story of her using Tide Laundry detergent powder to wash my diapers. Of course, I cannot confirm that, just like I cannot confirm she fed me Quaker Oats when I was a child.

Thanks for joining in. Tide seems to have been popular. I couldn’t tell you if Mum used a different powder for our nappies, but it was probably Tide as with everything else.
