Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #321- Intentional Camera Movement

Happy Sunday! Anne from Slow Shutter Speed is hosting this week’s Lens-Artists Challenge and she has presented an interesting and fun theme: I.C.M (Intentional Camera Movement).

This post will be fast because I never intentionally played with intentional camera movement. This photo might be the only time I’ve done this kind of thing – moved the camera while it was taking a photo. This photo was taken when during a photo session with my plants, I had an idea to take a photo of when plants were moving.

I didn’t know that playing with bokeh was part of intentional camera movement because I certainly did not move the lens when I shot this photo, I had simply unfocused the camera right before snapping the picture. I had just gotten my new 50mm lens and decided to try it out on a trip to see Christmas lights.

I discovered this accidentally and thought it was so cool. Unfortunately, I don’t go out much at night these days, otherwise, I would definitely do more bokeh shots.
