Ugh! Sometimes, I wish my apartment comes with a peephole. Why didn’t I check when I looked at this place?
A peephole would come handy on days like today when my mother waltzed in the moment I opened the door, leaving me standing at the door like an idiot. “What are you doing here?”
I thought by getting my own apartment, I would be ridding my mother for good. Nope, not the case.
She went straight for kitchen and rifled through my pantry, “Didn’t I tell you to organize this pantry when I came here the last time?”

Ugh. Why do parents feel the need to interfere all the time?

I think parents just feel the need to make sure their children are living up to their standards, which is annoying on so many levels.

Uh oh. Parents, especially the Asian ones can be rather overbearing at times

More than a peephole, she needs a new apartment. On the other hand, I can’t help but feel that her mom cares and loves her but just doesn’t really know how to go about doing that well.

I think she needs to move far, far, far away, maybe thousands of miles away but even then, I don’t think she’ll escape.
