Do you like snow?

I only like snow up to a certain point. Like when I don’t have shovel snow from my driveway and when I don’t have to drive in it. Otherwise, I like snow, I think snow beautifies any landscape.

Did you build a snowman as a child and dress it with coal eyes, a carrot nose etc?

The first time I saw snow was when I was around 12 years old when my stepfather drove to the top of the Big Bear Mountain in southern California. The snow there was disappointing – thin, slushy, and dirty – but somehow, I was over-joy to see snow. I could’ve never made a snowman out of that.

The second time I saw snow was in Texas. I was 15 and it was supposed to had been a once in a lifetime event. School was closed because when it snows in Texas, it automatically turns to ice because of the humidity.

I’ve seen snow every year since I moved to Utah and yet, even with the wonderful powder snow, I never did make my snowman. I guess I became too grown up for snowman building. My aunt did built one though back in 2016. These days, she’s too busy sleeping her days away to even help me shovel snow.

Did you have snowball fights?

I think I did have a snowball fight once. I remember having a lot of trouble forming the ball in my hands because it was so cold and even through the thick gloves, I could still feel the cold.

Did you have a sleigh?

Haha, the place I live in may be cold and snowy but it’s not at the point that requires a sleigh to get around. So no, I don’t have a sleigh.
