“Uh, babe, are you seeing this?” Sandra called to her husband and turned up the volume on the weather forecast. Her husband, Dan, was in the kitchen slicing up the meats for the Christmas cookout.
“What?” Dan called.
“The weatherman’s forecasting snow tonight.”
Immediately, Sandra heard a knife clattered on the counter and Dan appeared next to her in mere second. “He better not,” he warned.

That night, Dan prayed the weather would hold up.

The next morning, Sandra woke up to a shriek. “Sandra, are you seeing this?”
Sleepily, Sandra moved to the window and saw the whiteness outside.
