“Excuse me,” I cannot recall how many times I’ve said those two words as I duck, squeeze, push, and shove through the crowd to get a closer look at these snow monkeys in its native habitat.
“This is a must-see attraction if you are in Japan in the winter,” the YouTube video said, “aren’t they the cutest thing ever?” Why doesn’t anyone mention the crowds? I wonder.
Those monkeys are cute, all right, I think as I aim my camera at them as the crowd shifts around me. Steady, I think and click. Let’s hope the picture came out right.
