In her car’s vanity mirror, she checked her makeup. It’s been a long day, she thought before heaving a sigh, but then everyday was long. Student by day and McDonald’s “associate” night. It’s no wonder the dark circles beneath her eyes had become more pronounced.
Heaving another sigh, she exited her car and yanked open the rear passenger door. Days worth of brown paper fast food bags and cups piled on the floor. Piece by piece, she picked them up and tossed them into the garbage, when it was all gone, she said, “I need to do stop doing this.”

I hope she was talking about leaving all the trash in the car and not working and going to school.
