Have you ever had a pet that was NOT a dog or a cat?

I once pet-sat for a friend’s pet turtles, if that counts. This was not when I was a child, it was only about 10 years ago. It was my mom’s friend’s daughter, she had recently graduated from a nearby college and was moving back to California. I probably pet-sat for a few weeks before she came and picked them up to be shipped back to California.

Did you have pets in the household when you were a child?

No, I did not. I was raised in an apartment, so space was limited.

Do/did you find pets therapeutic?

I find plants therapeutic. Pets, not so much. The thing about plants is, they don’t bite.

How old were you when you had your first pet, or have you never had one?

I’ve never had a pet until I pet-sat for my mom’s friend’s daughter.
