I feel this is a good shot of the city of Kyoto, Japan, taken from the top of Kiyomizu Temple.

I was there in September 2023 and after visiting a few of the well-known temples and shrines, my mom, her friend, and I spent the remaining moment at Kyoto station.

For any who are not familiar with Kyoto, it is in Japan, about a 30-minute express train ride from Osaka. It’s the former capitol of Japan.

Kiyomizu Temple was one of the temples we went to in Kyoto, the other was Kinkakuji temple. I loved the look of the garden and the fact that after so long, the outer walls of the temple still shined the same glittery shade of gold.

Visiting temples wasn’t my favorite part of Kyoto. My favorite part were the narrow cobblestone streets filled with various shops.
