What did you have for breakfast today?
An over-sized Costco croissant and a mug of black coffee with milk. This wasn’t what I had yesterday. I try to keep my daily breakfast diverse, if I can because having the same thing each day is just boring. Besides, breakfast is the most important meal of my day since my next meal is not until dinner.

What is your preferred fruit juice?
I like all kinds of juice but I love orange juice with lots of pulp.
What is your favorite snack?
I don’t have a favorite snack. I’m not much of a snack person. If I’m in desperate need for a snack, anything savory would be good, like a jerky.
What is your favorite hobby or pastime, either now or when you were younger?
I have many hobbies. When I was younger, my favorite hobby was jigsaw puzzle. Those things could keep me occupied for days. These days, jigsaw puzzles are usually what I do in the winter months when the ground is frozen with ice and snow, when I can’t play in my garden. In the summer months, gardening remains to be my favorite hobby these days.

All my favorite things are forbidden – like glazed twist donut, or reeses peanut butter cup. I surrender once a month. I don’t drink much juice, but my choice would be fresh pineapple blended with some ginger root. I do like oatmeal with raisins, cinnamon, and a little maple syrup. I can eat that any time.

I don’t eat a lot of donuts, only when someone brings them to the office. I don’t voluntarily buy those things myself. I only drink juice on airplanes just because the water somehow taste worse high up than on the ground.

Donuts offer no worthy food value, and sugar sets off the craving for more sugar.

I agree. Unfortunately, that’s the case with sugar.

I love orange juice with pulp, it just makes sense. It’s like I squeezed the orange to make the juice itself :-P. Many years ago, I had a roommate and he asked me if I preferred my orange with pulp or no pulp. My roommate preferred no pulp because it preferred his juice to be “clean.” I thought it was too funny.

Orange juice with no pulp does not feel like orange juice to me. With pulp, it makes sense.
