How have you changed personality-wise as you’ve grown up?

Do share with us how you’ve changed personality-wise as you have grown older. Was there a particular time in your life that brought on this change?

Personally, I don’t feel much different (personality-wise) than when I was a kid, except now, I have a lot more responsibilities and stresses. Oh, don’t get me wrong. I definitely changed even though I’m still that shy, introverted loner kid who never asked questions in class and often wandered the playground alone at recess. I’m still that person but after years of struggles whether in school, work, and home, I am that person, plus the accumulated experiences and knowledge.

So has my personality changed?

I think my personality primarily shifted alongside the experiences, not changed as in making me a different person. The only thing I’m sure is that as I’ve gotten older, I know and understand a lot more than when I was younger. That’s just the natural part of aging, isn’t it? We either learn by mistakes or by doing. We never know unless we experience it, right?
