Another A to Z Challenge into the history books! That means, it’s reflection time.
I must say, my brain feels a little bit dead and uninspired at the moment as it will usually feel after a month-long exploration of the alphabet. I’m sure my inspiration will return, just need to take some time to rest the ol’ noggin.
My theme for this year’s challenge is Places. At first, I thought I would sprinkle in a few places I’ve never been but want to go, but it quickly became clear that I would not do that, that I would come up with 26 places I’ve been to, with photos to prove. I tried to be diverse in my pickings but sometimes, there are only a few places that fit the letter.
The letter I struggled the most, surprisingly, was the letter R. If you ask people about which letter he/she would struggle the most, most would say the letter X or J or K. The letter R feels like a common letter that people shouldn’t have problem coming up with a word.
Of course, I thought about Rome, which I’ve never been, and Roswell, New Mexico, which I’ve also never been, but at that point, I felt it would be out of place to suddenly insert a I-want-to-go place into a list of I-have-been-to places. Therefore, I’ve chosen the Reading Terminal Market, the only place I could think of that starts with the letter R.
Surprisingly, I have felt better about this year’s A-Z challenge because I was able to write multiple posts in advance, like on the weekends, so I didn’t had to worry about writing 2 or 3 posts the night before.
Overall, I felt this year’s challenge went well and I’m looking forward to brainstorming for the next one.

I enjoy it more when I write ahead too. Writing everyday is pretty stressful for me.
Congrats on finishing!

Thank you. I’m used to writing everyday but I can usually do 2 posts before getting stressed.

I enjoyed your posts a lot. This is the first year I haven’t written in advance since I made the decision on April first. LOL!

You seem to have had a great time with the A to Z. It’s weird what letters can be a problem. I at first had trouble finding a novelty song for F. I wrote my posts and scheduled my posts in March so I could have more time to visit other blogs, though I didn’t get to some.

I did have a great time with this year’s A to Z theme. Impressive that you wrote all the posts in March. I started with X, Y, and Z in March but I stall because of procrastination.
