Purely a work of my imagination!
No one understood his talent as an artist. As a child, his mother shunned his love of art, had him pursue schooling for math and science. Chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, he’s done them all and wowed his mother with top grades. He was, however, bored, always in the back of the class, doodling in his notebooks, only half-listening to his professors drone on.
After landing a job as associate professor at his Alma Mater and getting his apartment, he began pursuing art again, always drawing the same woman. If you ask him who she is, he’d shrug, “I don’t know.”

I suppose it’s his muse. It is never too late to begin something new.

I agree, who knows what’s going on in that head of his.

did you mean “drawing” instead of “driving” the same woman?

Yes, went back and corrected it. Yikes, must had been thinking about something else.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if he found her some day?

Aww, that would be a lovely ending for his story. 🙂
