When you go on vacation, do you like to sample the local cuisine, check out the sights, or laze on the beach?

Lazing on the beach is so not me. The notion of just lying around with nothing to do all day irks me. I can’t even do that for 5 minutes let alone for hours. If I can, I will absolutely sample the local cuisine and see the sights. After all, that’s why I travel and go on trips.

Have you ever been away on a vacation with friends rather than family?

The closest to a vacation with friends is spending a night on the couch in a hotel with a bunch of old ladies from church. Strangely, I found that more enjoyable than traveling with my family.

Would you prefer a cruise or coach tour holiday?

Funnily enough, my mom has been asking if I want to go on a cruise. “No,” I replied. No way in hell! I wanted to say. There was absolutely no freakin’ way I’m going to spend a week on a ship with my mom and her siblings. I already knew she would invite her sisters along and I’ve grown to dislike them over the years.

Why?

For one thing, her sisters have somehow chosen to behave like we’re joined at the hips. Whatever I do, they must also do. Wherever I go, they must come along. They won’t do anything unless I do it but when I want to do something I want to do and they don’t want to, it’s their way or no way at all.

So if I ever have a choice at all, I would choose neither (it turned I hate coach tour).

Self catering, or full board where all meals are included/provided.

I would say it depends on the meals. Can I see the menu first?
