Are you facing problems while posting comments on the posts of those you follow or even replies to the comments others make?
It’s so weird that the more advanced technology gets, the more frequent I find myself crossing my fingers each time I wait for a website to load or even my computer to load, hoping that things will go smoothly. Do you find yourself doing the same thing?
I have had problems posting comments on someone’s blog in the past. It was a while and it took me several tries to get my comment to show up. Hopefully, I wasn’t being too repetitive on that person’s blog. I can’t remember who it was as it was a while back. I kept clicking the post button and kept getting errors.
Anyway, because of the myriad of problems I’ve encountered using the app, I now only use the app for notifications. Half of the time, I find my replies don’t go through when I write it through the app. The only time I access my blog is at night when I’m writing for the next day, so, yes, I know, my comment queue is getting kinda long these days.
I also don’t read posts on the app because, as Sadje mentioned in her post, “too many missing posts.” One moment I would be reading a post published 6 hours ago and the next, it would be 3 days ago. What??? Ugh! That happens no matter how frequently I catch up on my reading.
I think this whole thing goes back to the whole “technology becoming more advanced,” thing. The advanced it gets, the more times I have to cross my fingers.

I haven’t had problems on the app – Jetpack took over from … cos? But it seems to work for my precious regular followers.
Loved your trip photos. Got distracted so I forgot to comment there.

My complaint about the app is just the missing posts and sometimes, when I click on the notification for a comment, it doesn’t do anything.

That doesn’t sound normal. Perhaps delete app and reinstall it. Might just have a glitch.

I have, a few times, and even switched phones and tablet. Maybe I need to clean out my subscriptions.

I don’t use any apps for blogging. I blog from my browser and have no problems commenting, except on one blog there was a bug and all my comments went to spam of that blog.

Argh! I hate it when that happens. I don’t know whether that has ever happened to me but I have this happen quite a bit on my blog. So I check my spam comments often.

I feel the same way about my work laptop, too, whether it will work for me today or not. 😀 Technology, the more advance they get, the more nervous we seem to become.
