CFFC: Retail

Here is the breakdown. The first photo was taken one night as my aunt and I were strolling along my hometown in China’s shopping promenade. It has a wide variety of shops from clothing to food. This was over 8 years ago. My relatives in China still walk this street and would frequently post photos about this street on social media.

If I’m not mistaken, the next photo was taken in Osaka, Japan. I blame myself for not properly labeling this photo. I should’ve labeled it something more detailed than “Storefront, Japan.”

The next two photos were taken in Taipei, Taiwan. It was my first time seeing all those signs on the side of the building. I don’t really see that where I live. Shops and restaurants really do line the streets in Taiwan. It’s almost ridiculous to see how many shops are side by side selling the same things with competitive pricing. I guess more options for us consumers.

My final photo comes from Glasgow, Scotland. It was strange to walk this empty street early in the morning, before the shops were open, when the day before, this street was packed with shoppers and live music as I was walking back to the hotel.
