Friday Fictioneers: Done

PHOTO PROMPT © David Stewart

“Excuse me,” Clementine called to the Uber driver, “can you please drop me here?” She’s had enough of this night and her husband’s antic. Why did I married to this asshole anyway?

She opened the door and was about to step out when her husband grabbed her wrist, “Let go, Steve.”

“What makes you think you can just walk out of our conversation?”

“There was no conversation, never was. It was always you and only you, never me. You know what? I’m done.” She pulled the ring from her finger, threw it at him, and stepped out into the rain.

  1. It’s good to be certain about things like that…because once you toss that ring, you’re not getting it back! Very dramatic scene!
