Friday Fictioneers: Double Vision

Putting her glasses down, Joanne rubbed her eyes, hoping her vision would clear but it’s still a blur. It’s been like this lately. She would be able to see clearly one moment and the next, she’d have double vision – every letter would look blurry and 3D. She would try her glasses but it wouldn’t make things better.

Picking up the bottle of eye drops on the table, she held it at a distance to read the label. “To relief dry itchy eyes,” it read. I guess that’s what I have, Joanne thought before putting a few drops into each eye.
