I’ve been receiving notifications of Achievements and recently Classic Material which I neither want or signed up for.
Do you think such notifications are necessary or have you switched them off?
I don’t care for the notifications of Achievements but I don’t mind the recently classical material notification. It’s like my cloud drive showing me memories of year past. I enjoy seeing what I’ve published in years past. I think sometimes, we all need to re-visit our old posts to gain new inspirations. Do I think such notifications are necessary? No, I don’t think they are necessary but I think they’re nice to see. Of course, if I was a new blogger, I would probably be the other way around – like the notification of achievement and don’t care for the other notification.
With the recent hot weather, it seems to bring out the worst in us drivers. Have you been a victim of road rage?
Odd, it’s the opposite here. People seem to commit road rage when the weather’s cold. I know UK’s been hot but here, where I am, weather has been all over the place. It’s up and down like a roller coaster ride, never stable.

In hot weather, what would you prefer:
a paddle in the sea, dangling your feet in a pool, or staying as much as possible in the shade?
Here’s the best part about a dry climate: if you can find shade, you will be immediately cool. If I have to do chores in the garden in hot weather, I prefer to do them beneath the shade cloth. It’s not AC cool under there but it’s better than standing in the sun.
On a hot day, what do you find most refreshing:
a hot drink (tea or coffee), an ice cold glass of lemonade, a cold beer, or ice cream.
Yuck, a hot drink? On a hot day? On a hot day, you will find me drinking a cold brew or an iced latte. If I can get my hands on a Frappucino, that’d be the best because I prefer my ice to be crushed and mixed into the drink than to have it floating on top, converting to water.

Thanks for joining in and sharing your world Yinglan.
