Friday Fictioneers: The Wandering Flowers

When I lived in the house next door, I would find my neighbor’s azaleas creep through the fence. “Plants have a way of wandering, don’t they?” I’d often joke. Little did I know I would live in that house 2 years later and would get a full view of these beautiful flowers.

Alas, I wasn’t a gardener back then and didn’t know how to keep these flowers alive. Two years later, when spring came, it never woke up. Now, occupying that spot is a productive veggie bed. When I got the house, I could’ve never imagine the transformation I’d bring.
