A few weeks later…
“Hey man, you decent, I…” before Harry could knock on his roommate Adrian’s door, the door was wrenched open, and on the other side stood Adrian.
“Yeah dude,” Adrian said in a clip tone, “what’s up?”
“Listen, I’m having some work friends over today, so I would appreciate it if you can either stay in your room or…” Harry paused, trying to find the right word to tell his roommate to stay out of the house, “you know,” he decided, “bug out.”
It took Adrian less than a second to grasp the situation, “You invited Teri, didn’t you,” he gasped, “dude, don’t tell me, no,” Adrian’s face was full of excitement now, “you have feeling for her?” Taking a step back, Adrian looked Harry up and down, as if sizing him up for a fight, “All right,” he said after a moment, “all right, I’ll stay out of your way, you can have the girl, I won’t steal your thunder.”
“Really,” Harry said with doubt in his voice, as if there’s a catch, “are you sure?”

It looks like Adrian is back. I wonder who those friends are from work and what he’s been up to.

I hope Adrian doesn’t stay out of the way! I’m beginning to think Teri needs to swear off dating or even thinking of dating, anyone from her workplace, lol

This can’t end well, unless she finds someone totally different.
