“What is all this? Why?” Sue asked as her husband Patrick and his brother Connor placed microphones and amplifiers in the living room.
“Oh, hey, honey, we got temporarily kicked out.” Patrick said, “Gene’s family is in town for the month, so we need somewhere else to practice.”
“For the month?” Patrick nodded. Sue stared at Patrick for a minute before sighing exasperately, “Fine, but don’t you boys make a mess in my house. If you do, there will be consequences, understand?” She began retreating to her craft room before pausing, “and keep the noise and ruckus down, won’t you?”
