
Michael will remember that Saturday for the rest of his life.
Michael had gone to visit his 85-year-old ailing mother at her senior apartment that day. “It’s a lovely day. What would you like to do today, mother?”
“Can we go for a walk?” Michael gladly obliged, taking his mother on a stroll along the pier. His mother was in good spirits. “I hope you know that I love you, Michael and no matter what, it’s been my privilege to be your mother.”
The next day, the nurse called and told him his mother had passed away in her sleep.
