I decided to do a short Flower Hour this week. I arrived in Shanghai today and moved into this hotel with shitty wifi. I called down to the front desk and they blamed it on my phone being an international phone and therefore, the wifi doesn’t work. I have never heard of such excuse in my life. Wifi doesn’t discriminate, does it?
So, also inspired by Terri’s Sundaystills challenge this week, I decided to share a couple of orange flowers I saw during my time in Nanjing.
Starting with the first image, I believe that’s an azalea. I used to have an azalea planted in my back garden but it died mysteriously. I’m surprised by the amount of azaleas I saw in Nanjing. Perhaps, it has something to do with the latitude and the amount of rain.

I’m not sure what kind of flowers are these. It looks like some kind of trumpet flower. I just know that hummingbirds love this kind of flowers as they love tubular flowers.
