It was tough to pick photos for this week’s topic as not many photos have only 2 colors even though there’s a “basically” in the topic.

I think this photo came pretty close with different shades of brown from the branch and the rocks and white from the water. I tried many shutter speed for this photo – 3 seconds, 2.5 seconds, 1 second… – none got the effect I wanted until I landed on 1/6 of a second exposure. I think this is becoming one of my favorite long exposure photo to-date.

Doesn’t this photo make you feel the heebie-jeebies? Like what’s down the path? Where does it lead? It was how I saw the scene when I shot this photo even though it didn’t look this dark in reality.
