Information and Common Sense

Today’s Daily Prompt asks whether I agree with this statement: “Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense.” — Gertrude Stein

Not really. Even when I had 3 or 4 classes per day and each of them was stuffing a large load of information into my brain, I don’t lose my common sense. In my opinion, no matter what kind of information a person receives, it always goes back to common sense. Other than that, I don’t really have more to say.

Oh yeah, I just got news that a typhoon warning’s been issued for Hong Kong airport and my aunt’s plane might be cancelled. If that’s the case, it would give me one more day and delay the inevitable of adding two more members to my small family.

Also mom’s making me move down to the basement to monitor my cousin which I also dread because though the basement’s nice and all, I have a lot of stuff in my room. Also I will definitely miss my room even though I am not completely moving downstairs; I still have to come up to change clothes.

I’m kind of excited for my aunt’s arrival and all but I am not ready. So please give me just one more day. Cross your fingers.
