Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?

School is neither easy nor difficult for me. I use present tense because I am still in school but unlike a week ago when I can’t see the light at the end of tunnel, I now can. There is a possibility I can be completely done with school by next summer! So exciting!
Anyway, school has its easy and difficult moments. What was easy for me was the learning. Making friends and the bullying were the difficult moments. I have to say, did not enjoy the bullying.
What is your favorite animal?
Can I pick more than one? I’m torn between a cute puppy and a teddy bear. I know a teddy bear is not exactly an animal but I happen to be afraid of lice and fleas.
If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts?
I actually have prescription glasses but I choose not to wear it. It’s super uncomfortable. Contacts? No way. I can’t even keep my eyes open long enough to put eye drops in them. How am I supposed to keep them open to put contacts in? So no way, not even if I only have to wear one. My left eye’s so far-sided that I can’t see even with glasses but my perfect right eye’s doing the job of two eyes so I’m good.
List: Name at least five television shows (past or present) you enjoyed?
Oh, my. I enjoy every single show I watch. Currently, I’m enjoying a comedy called “Young and Hungry,” and maybe once in a while, I’ll watch “I love Lucy” even though I’ve seen every single episode of the show.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for the weekend I got to enjoy while my mom went to her monthly training. I felt so peaceful during those hours by myself. I meditated and learned some yoga by watching YouTube videos. I lost about a pound with those exercises and I think my focus is better. I actually managed to complete writing almost five chapters of my first manuscript. Yes, I’m really geared toward becoming a writer.
Something to look forward to… I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m looking forward to school which is starting next week. I’m tell you in another post.

I Love Lucy is always good for a good laugh. Thanks so much for sharing this week.

Nice answers, Yinglan. I’m glad you’re looking forward to going back to school. You’d be quite miserable if you were dreading it. I haven’t seen ‘I Love Lucy’ for ages, but I used to love it years ago. 🙂

Thank you. Well, I’m actually not looking forward to going back to school but anything beats sitting at home all day with a nagger, right? I Love Lucy is a great show to watch whenever we need a laugh. 🙂

Sitting at home with a nagger has got to be the pits! Hope you manage to enjoy what’s left of the summer hols. 🙂

I adore that dog yoga picture! I notice a distinct absence of turtles among your favorite animals 🙂

It’s not that I dislike turtles, I just don’t like the smell of their poopy water or that they get squirmy when I take them out of the water.

Ah yes, that “turtle” smell. I remember that well 🙂
