Oh, I can so relate to this quote! I feel like my family and some friends really don’t understand my life. I think they think I am lost…but I’m not! My family all live in England, yet, during the past 9 years I have lived overseas – China, Thailand and three different cities in Spain – I am now living in Madrid. I am in a long term relationship (over 5 years) with a guy who is 12 years older than me – something I know many of my friends find difficult to comprehend! Also, I have chosen not to have children. I work with children, and love teaching, yet I have never wanted my own. I love my life with my boyfriend, and at the age of 35, doubt we will ever have kids – unless, I suddenly get the desire to have a family in the next couple of years!!
…So, yes, I fantastic quote – I love it! I am not lost, I just choose to live my life different to the person judging me as lost 🙂
Thank you for sharing! I can relate to this quote too. That’s why I chose it. Although I interact mostly with my mother’s family, I’m nothing like them and because of that, they think I’m lost but in fact, I’m just heading on my own individual unique path.
I was just there… literally! That’s Fitzroy in Argentinian Patagonia, and the road heads into the town of El Chalten. The weather wasn’t quite that nice when we were there last November/December, but we definitely weren’t lost! d(^_^)
