Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?
School was easy and difficult at times. The social aspect was definitely the most difficult part of school for me especially when you’re the new kid in school. I can tell you though, the most difficult years were those in China.
Every subject was difficult in China, even when I was only in elementary school. I struggled with every subject except in English which was the only subject I excelled in. My worst subject was P.E. (physical education) because I don’t have a fast reaction to things like whistles and guns which was something the teachers used to get us to race each other. I’m also incapable of doing a back-flip and thus, causing me to fail my P.E. class four years in a row.
I didn’t begin to get good grades until I came to the U.S. when all of a sudden, school became super easy even the social aspect, though still difficult, became much easier. I think the social aspect was easier because it was more or less a fresh start for me. No one knew me nor my history. Overall, school was pretty easy until I got to college.
List some of your favorite types of animals.
I love all types of animals as long as they don’t bite, not slimy, and don’t attack. So basically, my favorite type of animal is stuffed.
What is your favorite large city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?
I’m trying to think… I haven’t been to many large cities but I’ve been to enough to know my favorite is Chicago and not my hometown even though it is currently a large city.
It didn’t make my favorites because one shouldn’t get hit by random objects when he/she’s walking on the sidewalk. In my hometown, whenever you walk on the sidewalk, there’s a chance you can get hit by people’s spit, a flower pot, or even an AC unit. Something can fall on you from somewhere above. It’s quite dangerous.
So I’m choosing Chicago as my favorite. Even though I only stayed for four days, at least the streets weren’t littered with spit, chewed gum, and trash and the public transportation was quite easy to follow and let’s not mention I don’t have to learn a new language to visit Chicago. The one thing that stood out for me about Chicago were the night lights and art.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I appreciated the nice weather last weekend when I could go out and fertilize the lawns without having to put on a jacket. Though it looked like autumn outside, last weekend definitely brought back some of the summer warmth. The nice weather also inspired some pictures.

We had nice weather too last weekend. So I can appreciate that you enjoyed yours.
