During my road trip last year, my aunt and I spent three days driving up and down the Icefield Parkway in Canada between Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. According to the internet, Icefield Parkway is deemed one of the most beautiful drive in Canada.
There are so much to see along this scenic route. This part is one of my favorite because getting to this spot requires a challenge. It required driving along a curve that resembled three-quarter of a figure 8. On the second day, my aunt told me my cousin would probably have a blast maneuvering this curve. Once completing the curve, we were rewarded with this spectacular view of snowy mountains and the winding road below.

I am often very scared driving up those mountain roads. I’m the passenger who not looking out the window. but once at the top, the view is so rewarding.

As my geologist friend said when we first saw this view from the Big Hill, “This is a perfect example of glaciation!” Indeed.
