It’s Memorial Day today in the U.S. and I think this quote is appropriate to some people because believe me, I’ve encountered this type of people before:

So true!! As a former Army National Guard member, I feel this every time I stand for my country’s flag, and my National Anthem!

I’m retired US military now. Some of the most difficult duties I had was assisting family members and presenting the flag on behalf of a grateful nation to family members. It was also rewarding in that we honored their service and sacrifice.
