She stood there, sobbing into his shoulder while he muttered, “It’ll be okay. Everything will be fine.”
Five minutes before, she was bursting out of the restaurant, running toward the pier, hands covering both eyes. He followed. “Jenny?” He yelled after her but she put a hand out to stop him, her head turned the other way.
“Don’t come any closer.” She warned, hyperventilating. She wasn’t ready to let him or anyone know of her condition, not before she learns about it herself, whatever the condition is.
Slowly, he moved closer, reaching for her outstretched hand. “It’s okay, Jenny, whatever it is, it’s okay.” He said softly. Gently, he pried her other hand from her eyes until they were staring at each other, Jenny’s glowing yellow eyes to his ocean-blue.
“I-I don’t know what’s happening to me.” Jenny sobbed.
“Look at me, Jenny. I’m here for you. You have my word. I will never leave you. I will always be here for you, whatever you got going on.” Immediately, Jenny began sobbing into his shoulder.

Definitely something not normal. I wish I know too but my brain can’t decide on one thing. 😀

It definitely has something to do with her yellow eyes. What is her condition? I can think of about a million, just couldn’t pick a specific one to put in the story. 😀 Thank you for reading.

Oh oh, yellow eyes. I like the fact that no matter what’s going on with her, he’s there for her. Nice story.

It’s great that she’ll have someone be there for her. It’s sometimes not easy to find someone so accepting.
Thank you for reading. 🙂
