I was pruning my dahlia yesterday afternoon and suddenly, I noticed the light was shining on this particular flower like a spotlight. Immediately, I stopped pruning, ran inside, and grabbed my camera. My dahlias have become wild after not getting trimmed for a few weeks. The flowers had become scattered and small like this one.

This picture did not come out like I’ve wanted because I didn’t realize I had the polarizing filter on my camera until after I took this picture. It came out dark. After some playing with post-processing, I think it came out okay and the effect is just how I wanted.
