Good Monday morning and thank you for joining me in another edition of #WeekendCoffeeShare. If you’ll please follow me, we’re moving this chat to the coffee shop next door.
The weather is sure nice today. The sun is out, so is the blue sky. The temperature has been going up and up. It’s like Mother Nature has suddenly decided to turn up the thermostat. It sure looks like the groundhog may be right for a change this year. It’s definitely beginning to feel like spring despite an unseasonably cold February 2019.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you I have been pulling weeds since Friday afternoon and I am exhausted and sore. It wasn’t exactly what I had in mind for this weekend. It was simply something that had to be done when I saw the weeds growing into my strawberries. I’m just glad it’s done.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you after looking forward to my uncle and aunt moving out last Friday, it did not happen. They looked and looked for furniture and couldn’t decide the furniture they should get. I have a feeling they just didn’t want to pay for it or something like that.
Nonetheless, they’re still here, abusing my house, especially my cousin who managed to stink up the basement not to mention after I repeatedly told him not to bring soda and drinks into his room, he still disobeyed. It’s as though my words don’t matter.
I’m so sick of these people abusing my goodwill. Grr…
He makes me so frustrated and worst of all, his parents stand behind him, telling me just let him be. “Oh, just let him do what he wants,” they’d say. Those words make me want to punch a wall.
It’s not fair. He’s living under my roof and he’s 22, he should learn to respect and obey people. What is wrong with parents nowadays? Spoiling their children? Letting them do what they want? Ugh.
The only thing that made me feel better in the midst of this madness was photography. Here are some of my favorite photos taken recently:
Finally, if we were having coffee, I would thank you for joining me today and hope to see you back here in a week.
Enjoyed your photographs. Lovely lighting. My sympathy regarding the…annoying social interactions in your living space. I envy you your weeding chores. A good outlet for frustration, and one can see the results of one’s work. My weeds are still buried beneath a couple feet of snow.

Thank you.
Though hard work, weeding definitely brought some “normal” back to my life and it was a good outlet for my frustration. Now, my little flower garden is practically weed-free. 😄

Great shots! 🙂 I wouldn’t put up with that crap with relatives. Be firm (for your own benefit); they are stressing you out and stress is a killer.

Thank you.
I will definitely be firm and they’ll definitely pay for what they’ve done to me.

What a frustrating home situation!! Your photos are absolutely lovely. You’re a wise lady to focus on that. I hope your new week got off to a better, less frustrating start.

It is a frustrating situation but I have a feeling it’ll get better this week as they’ll finally move out but still though, I’ll cross my fingers. 🤞
