Friday Fictioneers: Behind the Scenes

Sometimes, I think there’re more interesting things happening behind the camera than in front.

Take today’s show, we were doing a segment on health when I heard hissing and stomping. I subtly diverted my attention to find the producer hissing at a girl I thought was fired. Her hands were flying and pointing in random directions while the girl stood there, puzzled yet curious.

“Security!” The producer shouted, whose face turned cherry red as everyone turned to stare at her, even the cameras turned.

I could only think of one thing that girl has done. She’s pulled a “George Costanza”.

For Friday Fictioneers

What is a George Costanza? If you ever watch the show Seinfeld, in one of the early episodes, George got fired from his job but he didn’t want to be fired. So he returned the next day pretending his boss never fired him. It went on for days without anyone noticing he’s no longer employed by the company but I guess, in this case, it didn’t work for the girl.
