Share Your World – Week of April 19, 2021

What was the last TV show you binge-watched?   If you don’t watch TV (congratulations by the way) what’s the last thing you binged ON?

I usually binge TV shows during the summer when there’s not much on TV. So I haven’t binge on anything in a while. I don’t remember the last show I’ve binged. I remember binging on a few mini-series last summer. Jack Ryan (on Amazon Prime) and Departure (on Peacock) come to mind. I tried to binge on the show Manifest but kinda lost interest on Season 1, episode 7. Too many commercial breaks.

What’s your most prized possession and why?

My most prized possession is probably my phone because it’s the most expensive piece of technology I’ve ever own. Before my phone, my laptop was my most prized possession and as the result of several hard drive failures in the past, I no longer save anything on my computer hard drive. All my files are now encrypted and portable and can access wherever there’s internet. So my phone has become my most prized possession.

If you had the time and inclination, what would you volunteer for?

I would love to volunteer with anything related with Earth conservation but I’m not sure if anyone will take me seriously or let me do anything because of my size and appearance.

Do you think that humans will ever be able to live together in harmony?

Eventually but most likely not in my lifetime unless someone finds a way to eliminate hunger, war, and greed (which seem to be the root cause for war).

  1. Thanks, Yinglan for Sharing Your World! I BET there are organizations out there that would appreciate your help towards conservation and ecologic good works, and wouldn’t judge you on your size nor looks. If they do judge on such factors, they aren’t worth wasting the time on, in my opinion anyway! It’s the desire in the person, not the outside wrappings. I agree that some shows lose their way as they progress into longer episodes or the writer changes, and then the series isn’t as good. Have a really splendid week!

    • I agree, there are shows that starts out so great with captivating premises and then they went and overdid it which lost me as an audience.
Thank you for this week’s questions and have a great week.
