This week, on Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #160, Patti would like everyone to show what inspires him or her with the topic “Your Inspiration“.
I once heard someone say, “Bad weather is a photographer’s best friend,” and I admit bad weather is my friend when it comes to photography. Whenever I encounter bad weather, my first thought would be to grab my camera. Bad weather charges my inspiration.
The other thing that strikes my inspiration and make me pick up my camera is anything that doesn’t happen everyday – anything to break the monotony of life.
Monotony of life? That is sad. Suffering will sure change that. 😀

I mean, other than work, chores, eat, and sleep, life is sure pretty monotonous these days. Anything out of the ordinary will sure break that cycle.

You’re right about bad weather, Yinglan. I think of it as a problem, but it’s an opportunity! I enjoyed your images of the fog and the fireworks. I can see why they inspire you.

I typically only see bad weather as a problem if I’m not prepared for it or not dressed for it.
